If you have iCloud Photo Library turned ON, and you have Optimize iPad/iPhone storage turned ON, then some of the media shown on the import panel is stored in iCloud, and only a low-resolution proxie and thumbnail of the original is stored on your iOS device.

Normally, when you have a proper internet connection, and the media you are trying to import is compatible with your iOS device, then when you choose a clip for import, LumaClip will download the clip from iCloud and then import it.
However, if you have no internet connection, or if the clip is not compatible with this iOS device (for instance, you shoot 240fps clip or a 4K clip with an iPhone6, and your older iPad is not compatible with that clip), then you will get a message that says it cannot import.
- The first thing to try is to check your wireless connection in the Settings App.
- The second thing to try is to open the Photos App, locate the video, and then tap on the edit button. The Photos App may provide an explanation about why the item cannot be imported to your iOS device.
