The stars on certain items on the export panel represent the recommended export setting. If you are exporting to the Photos App, the Stars also represent the original clip resolution and frame rate.

There are some cases where the stars are not your original resolution and frame rate:
- If you have imported a slow motion clip and you have changed the speed from 100% then the recommended frame rate will be set to 30fps in order to properly export the slow motion.
- If you are exporting to a social network such as YouTube or Facebook, then the Stars indicate the highest appropriate resolution for that destination.
Note: If you have cropped or re-framed the clip, the Mbps will show as lower than the original, but in fact the quality of the clip will be the same as the original - it's only lower because less of the frame is being exported.
